First time visiting Venice and while walking around to find St. Marks. Plaza, at night, came across this restaurant! There was 3 of us, it was a nice cool night and decided to sit outside. The waiter enticing people to try their restaurant was pleasant and informative. We ordered calamari, it was lightly battered and tender. My niece ordered the seafood pasta, I ordered the cuttlefish ink pasta and my son got the truffle spaghetti. All looked and tasted very good. Then it started raining, the couple sitting next to us was moved closer to our table because they were getting wet. The staff acted quickly to move them by us. They were done with dinner and had a couple of drinks served. At the end of their meal, Shalim, both our waiter comped them a couple of drinks due to the rain and table moved. The rain had stopped for a little bit then it started pouring again, this time the wind was blowing and getting us wet too. We ran inside and staff helped us to a new table, and good thing we were on our desert already. At the end of our meal, my niece had ordered the lemon granita, and Shalim brought us 3 shot glasses and poured over some lemonchini( not sure of the name) due to our inconvenience outside. We all had great food and excellent service from our waiter Shalim and two of the other wait staff, Anis and Samuel who helped us to get out of the rain. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Great job!

We stopped by bc the waiter in the front offered a pre fixed menu (2 course + dessert for 18 euros). I asked is tiramisu included? He said yes!
I sat down to order from their fixed menu, then for dessert, tiramisu. The waiter who took my order (different waiter from outside waiter) said "that's on the side, it's not included." I'm a bit upset now bc I've just been tricked. I should have just walked out. But I wanted to give them a try anyway. Big mistake!!
The penne bologness: the pasta was undercooked.
Pizza: so salty!
Fruit salad: yuck! Tasted like old fruits!
Calamari: good. You can't go wrong with frying squid!
Sparkling wine: beautiful looking and was quite strong
The waiters were very careless with their service. They charged 12% service fees so I guess the waiters don't have to work so hard to achieve excellent customer service.
DO NOT RECOMMEND! -

Stopped in before our gondola ride and I had the spaghetti alla carbonara, I dont know what I was expecting it to taste like but it was by far theeee best pasta I've had. I love me some pasta and it's pretty much all I have eaten since we been here visiting. And this dish just hit every taste bud, I took my time eating it, savoring the creamy with the salty of the bacon. Dyno combo! i didnt want it to end.. REALLY! I wish I wouldve went back for one more before we left. I don't write many reviews just the really GREAT ones!
If u get the chance to visit and try and dont agree with my post PLEASE let me know, I am certain you will love it as much as I did -

Very nice location next to San Marco. Not on the water though
The grilled T-bone looked great, but we didn't order so can't vouch for how tender it really was but the people next to us loved it. Seemed good to perfection and finished at tableside. At €7/100grams seems like a great find
We order the liver which very good and also Saturday a good price, especially when compared to some of the €€€€ restaurants and high end hotels on the canal.
Food came timely enough and was hot
Service on a par with quick turnover restaurants
If you are in the neighborhood, definitely give it -

Impeccable service and fantastic salad, pasta, and dessert! We split a Caesar salad and each got a pasta dish (lasagna bolognese and fettuccini Alfredo); everything tasted totally freshly made and came right when we wanted it to. They had the best tiramisu we've ever had the pleasure to witness as well. The price was very expensive for what we ordere, but we left quite full and satisfied over all.
